Toys


Play is an activity carried out by someone to obtain pleasure, without considering the final result. Some argue that children who play too much will make the children become lazy and stupid work. This assumption is unwise, because some psychologists say that playing a very big influence on childhood development.

Effect of play for children development:

1. Play affects children physical development.
2. Play can be used as a therapy.
3. Play can affect the child's knowledge.
4. Playing influenced the development of children creativity.
5. Play can develop a child's social behavior.
6. Play can affect child's moral values.

Relation to the play is a toy. Toys are the tools or the means to play, although not always actually play must use a toy. If using toys as a means to consider the safety of the toys are for babies.

Avoid the following toys:

1. Toys with sharp edges, because that section could injure the child or others around him like a pencil, needles, pens, twigs

2. Sharp-edged because it could hurt the body such as knives, scissors, cutter

3. Are small because it can be swallowed by children and the dangers to children under the age of 3 years like marbles, coins

4. Using dyes or harmful substances can cause damage to the brain, kidneys and nervous system of children such as balloon inflatable or pungent

5. Toys that produce loud sounds, these toys such as weapons or whose voices loud voice recorder because it can damage the child's hearing system.

6. Toys with a long strap, because it can be dangerous and children can choke like a shoe string, rope, ribbon

7. Electronic toys for children at risk of burning and yet too understand.

Also adjust the toy with the stage of your baby's age, the following toys are suitable according to the stages of infant age:

1. Age 0-3 months
Colorful toys hanging and moving, the bells, bells, music boxes and toys that can sound if the press.

2. Age 3-6 months
Toys made of plastic or rubber toys that can be bitten, sleigh bells, toys containing cotton, the ball can be hung on a cradle,  bells, bracelets.

3. Age 6-9 months
The wheeled toys, small beams, and brightly colored balls, toys rolling. (In this age watch your baby from taking small items in a dangerous spot because he played the hand they're smart pinch-pinch small objects that exist around them).

4. Age 9-12 months:
Toys that can be removed (apart pairs), for example, colored cones, beams cardboard boxes that can be a big climb.
