Breast milk is the best nutrition for babies, for that there is no excuse for not feeding the baby. For working mothers are encouraged to continue to provide breast milk for her baby. How to order can still be breastfeeding ..? there is no other way except with express and store breast milk to be given while he was working or not at home. Use breast pump to help expressing it...

To maintain milk quality remains good following storage procedure:
  1. Use containers made of materials that easily sterilized, such as the bottle tightly with a lid made of plastic or heat resistant glass.
  2. We recommend using a container whose volume according to the needs of the baby for a drink, for example 125 ml.
  3. When milk is not given directly, make sure the shelter and storage have been sterile and uncontaminated.
  4. It is recommended to not store breast milk at room temperature for more than 3 or 4 hours. When the breast milk will be given less than 6 hours, then no need to be stored in the refrigerator.
  5. If need be stored for 24 hours, immediately enter the breast milk in the refrigerator at 4 degrees Celsius (do not freeze).
  6. When the breast milk will be used within a week or more, then the breast milk should be immediately cooled in a refrigerator for 30 minutes, then frozen at -18 degrees Celsius or lower. Already frozen breast milk can be stored between 3-6 months.
  7. Store the milk in the middle of the refrigerator, freezer or in the deepest part, because these locations have cooler temperatures and constant.
  8. Label each container of breast milk contains a description of when the milk is milked.
  9. Do not fill a container full of milk containers, because the milk will expand when frozen. Leave approximately ¼ section blank.
Note:
  • Do not store milk in a rack attached to the refrigerator door because the temperature in this place is easily changed when the door opened and closed.
  • Milk that had been warmed not cooled again to be given to infants at the time of the next drink.
  • Freezing a long time (more than 6 months) can alter the chemical composition of breast milk, such as the decomposition of some compounds occur in fat and loss of several compounds that function against harmful organisms. The risk of contamination is also high, if a sudden power outage so that fluid milk and frozen again.
